Final error: 0xa000846b

I'm backing one 2000 server locally. It's running Citrix. I am not using remote agent at all. I am not backing up the system state. I'm just backing some data directories on this server. I am getting random backups failing with final error: 0xa000846b. The error says:
Backup - \\Citrix
Remote Agent not detected on \\CITRIX.

Citrix is the LOCAL server name and I'm not using remote agent at all.

I've reinstalled more than once. The server has all Windows 2000 critical updates on it. I currently have Backup Exec SP2 on. I just now noticed that SP3 is out.

Under Tools -> Options -> Job Defaults -> Network. I have nothing selected except Enable selection of default shares.

The backups don't fail everyday, maybe once or twice a week.

I have verified the following:
-- Verify if the Remote Agent service is running on the BEWS server
-- Also verify if Remote Agent service is starting using the "Local System Account
-- Also verify all backup exec services are running

Restrict Anonymous Support was NOT enabled. I enabled it. I'm not sure if these requires a reboot, but I will do it before tonights backup and report back tomorrow.
