Links not particularly relevant, but I have reinstalled the remote agent, both remotely and locally (by sharing RAW32 and running setup). Data appears to be backrd up but verify is failing. The only event log entry is ID 34113

have you installed the remote agent license as well ?

as in evaulation the you can backup N number of remote server without any license but once your evaulation period is over you need to make sure you have the a remote agent license installed per ser server ..

But a per the error you have it does not seem to be a licensing issue and is more to do with the hardware i.e your HP unit as its not able to run a verify . Make sure you have the latest drivers installed for your drive

refer the folloiwing document http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH5433

Remote agent for windows is licensed and installed.

Server that is being backed up remotely is SEPM also and has no issues with communications with clients and liveupdate, so I don't think it is a switch issue.

Verify worked fine until second server was added.

Will chceck out firewall ports and other items per 71227 bulletin
