First Store license error

Hi,

I am trying to backup a Windows 2000 Server with Microsoft Exchange 2000 and I get the following error:

Access to the device \\myserver\Microsoft Information Store\First Store is not authorized with this edition of the product.

I am using Backup Exec 9.1 on another Windows 2000 Server.

What license should I buy to fix the error?

Thanks.

Hello,

The VERITAS Backup Exec Agent for Microsoft Exchange Server is installed as a separate,
add-on component of Backup Exec for Windows Servers,
Th issue " Access to the device \\ server name\microsoft information
store\ first storage group is not authorized with this edition of the
product."could occur when Backup Exec is changed to licensed mode from the
evaluation. For example, if the Exchange data was selected in the job log
in the evaluation mode and the Exchange Agent is not added in the licensed
mode then the saved backup jobs would give this error.
To resolve the issue, we suggest you to try re-creating the backup
job (i.e. define new job) and verify the result.
As preliminary steps to resolve the issue with serial numbers we would
request you to insert the serial numbers again and refer the below
mentioned steps.
1) Restart all the BE Services 2) Create a new backup job to backup the Exchange Information store and
take a test backup and verify the results.

If the issue still persists please send us the license number for Exchange 2000 to verify.
