Fragmentation of B2D files - Hotfix 27

Dear All
I was having a great deal of fragmentation of my B2D files. So, as per Document ID:283264, i installed hotfix 27 and made the relevant registry changes.
However, it doesn't seem to be working. Creating a new B2D folder results in the creation of a B2D folder just like before, a couple of cfg files and no pre-allocation.
Am i missing something???

Ok. My mistake!

I thought the pre-allocation would occur during the CREATION of the B2D folder. However, the pre-allocation occurs during the actual backup job that references the new 'pre-allocated' B2D folder.
