0xe00084ca - data being read from the media is inconsistent while restoring

I'm trying to restore a file from tape and am receiving the error, "0xe00084ca - The data being read from the media is inconsistent". My hardware is as follows:
Dell PowerVault 112T
Dual DDS4 drives configured in a pool

All of the backups have completed as "successful", yet I cannot restore files from any of the backups. I tested both drives using Dell's tape drive utility. No errors found. Anyone have any ideas?

Hi,

1. Clean the tape drive.
2. Attempt to use another tape, or attempt to use the same tape in a different drive.
3.Check the Event Viewer for additional errors, and resolve any Event IDs related to the hardware (tape drive or controller)
