General question to license key

I am evaluating the backupexec 11d. - By looking around in the programm, I found the option for the license key.

So, I clicked on it, and the programm starts the same way, like the installation beginns. - So, my question is, when I do purchase a license key for the product(s) I need, do I have to install the whole programm again?

I ask, because, I administrate the whole network by remote. - And the installation of BackuExec 11d was not working by remote (I posted two days ago) - And the server stands up to 70km away from me. - So I have to know, how this will work

The evaluation of the product is the same code as the full version- yes, it is simply a matter of adding the license keys.

The process is supposed to simply add the keys in, however I have found that you are often asked to reboot anyway, and with older versions, service packs even rolled back, so do be prepared for the worst.
