HELP !!! Backup Exec11 CPU Utilization 100%

Hi guyz,

I dont know if you had this before.
I have my backup exec 11 running in 2003 server. I just noticed the CPU utilization is 100%.
When I tried to check and stop backup exec services, it just drop to 1%.
Installed updates are :
SP4
Hot fixes 62,64,63 &65
Is this normal to hog the cpu to peak ?
I get often backup errors not finishing.
Im worried it might be related to suddent CPU rise.

You can also make sure that your antivirus isn't scanning your *.exe files that Backup Exec launches (ie. beserver.exe etc).

Also, ensure that you have upgraded to 11d 7170, if you are still at 6235. These issues were common with BE 11.0 6235.
