Have BE2012 Licenses need to downgrade them to 2010R3

Hello,

I have a client that is not ready to upgrade to BE 2012. They are currently using BE2010R3. We purchased new licensing and it came

for BE2012. Is it possible to retor those licenses back to 2010R3? If so what steps do I need to take?

Contact Symantec Licensing team to downgrade BE2012 license keys to BE2010R3.

Note: BE2010R3 licenses are 16 digit alphanumeric keys whereas BE2012 license keys are bundled 

in a .slf file.

You won't be able to use the same license but with the help of licensing team you can get this downgraded and they will send the new license to you which can be used. All the new licenses coming for the latest version but those can be downgraded easily with the help of support.
