I am using BackUp Exec 11d on a Windows 2003 NAS Server which backs up several Windows 2003 Server installed with Remote Agents. Everything has been backing up successfully but have decided to test the restore of one of the Windows 2003 Servers using IDR in a test environment.
I expected this to be fairly easy but am stuck farily early on in the test. I have created an IDR Boot CD using the wizard for one and have burned the ISO image to CD. The server boots into Caldera DOS and gives me a prompt but what do i do now? Is this normal? I expected it to provide me a GUI of some description.
Do you have a boot floppy in your disk drive. If you do then please remove the Dos Boot Floppy from their floppy drive or change the boot order in the bios to make boot from CD-ROM as the first item.
