Hi all,

I'm trying to restore a folder from a Tape which is having millions of smaller files and still I can't get over it as it's taking days and throughput rate goes below 12MB per min sometimes and getting slower and slower.

I'm using Backup Exec 11d and Installed all updates to the latest.

Hardware, yes I'm Using IBM LTO 3 standalone drive and updated all hardware and firmware including host adapter's and System BIOS itself.

I tried restoring all other folders and Operating system and allworked fine except that perticular folder having those huge number of small files.

If anyone can give me a solution or a clue to get over this issue that would be great!
