How does BackupExec 11D handels Offline Files

does somebody knows how BackupExec 11D is handeling Offline Files and if I have the option to configure this setting.

What I mean is, how Backup Exec backup the links which is pointing to a file. Is Backup Exec backup the whole file or only the link to that file

Windows or Linux links?

If it's Windows, we just backup the link not the entire file.

In linux you will need to check the option "Back up contents of soft-linked directories"

I'll have to do some checking on the EV files, I'm not sure how we handle those at this time.  I'll get back to you on this one after I'v been able to get all the information.
