How to Backup SAP 6.40 (Netweaver) on Itanium2 64Bit Server

Hello!

How can I backup a Itanium2 based Server with SAP 6.40 Oracle Installed?
I can't install the SAP R3 Oracle Agent, the Setup don't work.

I tried to install the normal 64Bit RemoteAgent, copied the backint files manual to the run directory ... that worked, but only with a very low speed of 50MB/hour.
I dont know why it is so slow, there are no errors in the debug log auf backint.

Any hint?

What error do you get while installing the R3 Oracle agent. Ensure that you have followed steps as explained in the Administrator's Guide:

Regarding the slow backup, check out the following link:

Additionally ensure that no third party software like Anti-Virus are running during the backup.
