How to disable liveupdate in Symantec Backup Exec?

Hello,

We have several servers which are using Symantec Backup Exec 10, 11 and 12.
LiveUpdate has been disabled in Backup Exec, but proably due to the fact that Symantec Antivirus for Exchange is installed on those machines, Backup Exec updates are also downloaded and installed.
Many times the installer is "waiting" for completion (tape device driver).
Is there a way to let the updates for Mail Security go on, but disable the updating of Backup Exec?

Is saw several persons with the same problem, but no one with a solutions.

More a workaround than a real solution:

Setup a Local Virus Update Server and push/pull all the virus updates from that, rather than directly from Symantec.   This has the added advantage of limiting Internet traffic to the Symantec Server when a new/large update is released.
