How to exclude files from VMware Image Backup with GRT enabled

Is it possible to exclude files from a vmware agnt backup. I often get an error that some folders not support the GRT Technology

No. When any Virtual Machine is backed up using the VmWare agent then we can not exclude any files and folders inside that virtual machine. The basic reason for this is that during the backups Backup pExec backs up the complete VMDK and only the Meta-Data from inside the Virtual machine is taken.

If you want to exclude the whole VMDK then that can be done using the Include/Exclude option.
