How to restore a single exchange 2003 sp2 mailbox with Backup Exec 11d

One remote user claims his mailbox is now gone and I don't see his account at all in the domain.  We aren't positive he ever had one but we just took over support so we don't know.  I want to just restore his single mailbox and not the whole mail store?  How do I do this in the 11d version?  Thanks for the help.

Hi,

You can restore individual mailbox with Backup Exec 11d if you have taken backup with following option cheked

- Enable the restore of individual mail messages and folders from Information Store backups

so, if you have this option enabled then you can expand the mailbox store and select individual mailbox while making a restore job.

1 - Create a new restore job and select individual mailbox you want to restore.

2 - Apply required parameters regarding user credentials, source device and media.

3 - In microsoft exhange option select the option 

                 Automatically create user account and mailbox

4 - Uncheck the options

          - dismount store before restore.

           - mount store after resrtore.

5 - Run the job as per your scheduled

Thanks for the quick response.  Unfortunately this option wasn't checked on their backups.  I have checked it now.  Since that is the case, how can I go about restoring this mailbox now?  Thanks again.  Robbie
