How to use F2 if th e ASr files on CD

Has anyone ever recovered Windows Server 2003 from a bootable CD image with
the ASR files included in the image? Were you given the opportunity to press F@ for ASR files
to use those ASR files or provide a floppy with more recent ASR files? Or
did the recovery process just automatically use the ASR files that were on
the CD?

Reason ask is that it is easier to create CD image with ASR files then update
ASR to floppy after subsequent full backups, rather than recreating CD image.
That way, we can use floppy with most recent ASR files, but if lose floppy
at least we have ASR files on the CD to fall back on.

if your asr files are on cd, when you press F2 during recovery, setup will search thru the cd to use the asr files there

It is not possible to mix the to features. If you have selected to store the ASR files on CD during the IDR prep. wizard, you will not be able to use a more actual set of ASR files stored on a Diskette.

If you would like to go for safety, you would need to create two seperate bootalbe IDR CDs for the server.
One with ASR files included on the CD, the other one with ASR files on Diskette.

Both methods have advantages and disadvantages.
