From the console, click on the yellow BE icon (extreme top left corner) and then Help & Documentation and then About. It would mention there whether 32-bit or 64-bit.

When you install BE, the installer will automatically install the courtesy bit version to match the OS of the media server. You will not get 32-bit BE on a 64-bit OS
