I've noticed that its a roll of the dice as to which one of or when the backup will fail on a VM. We have 9 VM's on Hyper-V. Pretty much each night at least one fails (random) because the VSS service in windows dies. This seems like its more of a problem with the windows service than Backup Exec. Has anyone else had this same problem? The funny thing is i've probably backed up all 9 VM's over the course of 3 nightly attempts because a different one fails each night.
