Hi,

Check the BE 15 SCL below and make sure Windows Server 2016 is supported. If so, then the hypervisor is also supported (further down the list):

Thanks!

Windows 2016 support needs Backup Exec 16

The BE 15 SCL does not mention WIndows 1016 in the Server, Agents or Hyper-V sections, the BE 16 SCL does - which confirms the support status.

As for a cluster do you mean they VMs are stored in clustered storage (CSVs within Hyper-V or High Availability setups in VMware Datastores)

OR

do you mean you have built 2 VMs to act as cluster nodes and then shared some kind of storage or application install between them using traditional clustering setups with a virtual environment?

Basically you have to use traditional agent based backup to backup a traditional cluster (even if it is virtualized) but can use Virtual Agent backups (possibly with some minor limitations) to backup VM's held in clustered storage (CSVs / HA setups)
