IDR Backup to Tape

I am running Windows XP Professional with Viritas Backup Exec 10 with disaster recovery option. I would like to backup the disaster recovery data to tape but the option is greyed out, why is this?

My Tape drive is a Certance Ultrium 2 SCSI and is in the hardware list as tested.

Any ideas?

Not sure if you are using intelligent disaster recovery or not.. There is no disaster recovery option as such.. and there is no disaster recovery data .

If you are using IDR option, you have to backup the system drive with complete system state/Shadow Copy components as usual and then create the IDR disk...

Yes I am talking about the Intelligent Disaster Recovery (just me being inconsistent with the terms).

I basically want to put everything on the tape but the IDR wizard greys out the "Bootable Tape Image for use with bootable tape devices" yet my streamer does support this.

I would attach a screen shot but I don't appear to have an attach button.

The tape dribe shpuld be compliant bootable tape device or not.
Contact Hardware vendor to find out if it works with Backup exec.
