IDR: Inconsistency encountered, unknown loops error.

I have been using IDR successfully for a few weeks now. Today, however, I've encountered a new error with a strange message.

doing a manual IDR (I have to because of the configuration of the destination server), select external usb drive folder as a 'non removable' BTF device. It prompts to restore the various parts of the media set (which I duly accept) however when it gets to Shadow copy Service it starts to restore, then pops up the following message:

An incosistency was encountered on the storage media.

If you hit OK, you then get the following message:

Unknown loops error: -536836907

If you hit OK, it then returns to the Restore from BTF screen.

What is most worrying is the fact that this has affected the last 2 full backups on this device.

Please help.

I have the same error and have yet to see any fixes for it. In my case I am using backup to disk with an external USB drive. I am going to try to use a network location next to see if the error continues.
