Hi We are running BE 9.0 and have the IDR feature running. This works fine for our normal file and print server and want to role it out to our Exchange 2003 and maybe SQL 2000 servers.

Could someone please let me know if there is any document providing a step by step process how how to use IDR and Exchange 2003 and also SQL 2000. Thanks

The Admin Guide for BE 9.0 only mentions Exchange 2000 we are using Exchange 2003 if the IDR process for Exchaneg the same?

Also if you perform a IDR on a Exchange 2003 server using the latest full backup tapes and there are no extra differential tapes to use then do you need to perform any extra steps or is the process IDR process just the same as restoring a standard IDR Windows 2003 server that just runs file and print

Hello,

The procedure is the same for 2000 and 2003. You may upgrade to Backup Exec 9.1 which is a free upgrade and the manual explains a detailed procedure for performing a disaster recovery.
