IDR problem

Hi,

I'm testing the new version of BE 10d and I have problem with Disaster Recovery. In my "test lab" are two the same computers (HP DL380G4) with Windows 2003 Standard Polish Edition in the same Workgroup. BE 10d was installed on Local Administrator Account. The password for the local administrator account is the same on this two servers.

When trying to create a recovery CD for the media server I get following message:

"Language was not determined from \\SERVER1 The specified resource cannot be found in the image file"

but when I'm trying to create recovery CD for the other one server I can choose that I want to create CD, but when I have to locate the nstalation CD-ROM I get the same error.
Of course I use original English instalation CD of Windows 2003 to prepare the bootable CD.

1. I set up all language and location setting on both servers to English (US) (also tried English (UK) )

2. The name of keys in TXTSETUP.SIF are:
cdname = "Windows Server 2003, Standard Edition CD-ROM"
productname = "Windows Server 2003, Standard"

On the forum a lot of people have the same problem with IDR. Is there any "sure", working solution? Or DR works ONLY with english OS?

Hi,

Refer the Technotes given below for further Help >

What languages are supported by the VERITAS Backup Exec (tm) 9.x and 10.0 for Windows Servers Intelligent Disaster Recovery option?
http://support.veritas.com/docs/259759

While creating bootable diskettes with Backup Exec Intelligent Disaster Recovery (IDR), a "language seen on CD does not match" error message is generated even though Backup Exec and the Windows operating system are installed with the same language edition.
http://support.veritas.com/docs/190949

When creating the IDR diskettes or images, the user is prompted with "The language seen on the CD does not match."
http://support.veritas.com/docs/254184

Update us on the same and revert for any further Query
Hope this will help you

Thank you
Gauri
