IDR problems after upgrade to 10D

After upgrading from 10.0 to 10D I am unable to get the IDR wizard to work. I get a message;

Error connecting to \\myserver registry
The network path was not found.

I have searched this site and found info stating if C$ is not shared I would get a similar message. I do have C$ shared.

What protocols / services are required on a W2K Server in order for this to work?
