Hi,
i'm running BE 2010 R2, and need to isntall DLO. how to install DLO on active BE? is it will change current configuration and impact to existing backup schedules?

From Backup Exec console, click on Tools--> Install options and license keys on this media server.
Select Desktop and Laptop option from BE options and follow the onscreen prompts to install DLO.
To install DLO, media server must be as part of a domain.
Installaing an add-on option on media server will not change any existing configuration.

Hi,
No it won't. You'd get a license that unlocks additional DLO licenses. By default, BE comes with 5, so if you need 5 or less, don't worry about buying more licenses.
No changes are made to any jobs in fact...you're safe there, but if you're still unsure, grab a copy of your Data/Catalogs folders before doing anything.
