Installing Remote Agent / Changing Veritas

I am trying to install a remote agent locally by pushing it. If I selet Tools...Serial Numbers and Installation, I get the Windows Installer pop up saying preparing to install, then it goes away and nothing happens. I tried to access this through Control panel add/remove and the same results occur. How do I resolve this so I can modify the program?

I found a thread about renaming the Resdll.dll to Resdll.dll-old. I did this and the program launched normally. What is this file and can I delete it or rename it back?

Hello,

This particular file is a BE file ,so it would be better if you rename it.
