Is There Anyway To Restore a .bkf File On Another Computer

The .bkf file will not restore to the current computer, the remote agent keeps shutting down.

Is there any other way to restore this file without using the remote agent?

I'm on the borderline of desporation here!

Running Backup Exec 10.0 on a new W2003 and SQL 2000 server.

If you mean another Media Server, should work OK.  copy the BKF file to a B2D folder, then inventory the folder

You can also try upgrading to the latest v10d build.  it will accept your v10.0 serials (you will need to reinstall any Remote Agents you have.
