Issue after CPS agent install (BSOD)

I have upgraded our backup exec server from 10 to 10d to utilise the CPS
function.


A major issue has occurred after the CPS agent is installed to our file
server which is W2K Sp4 in a Proliant DL380 G3 server. The server had
the BSOD for 4 times since the install.

The messages are

What are the errors in the event logs?

The event log only shows the server has been shutdown unexpectedly.

It has no error specific to CPS.

Since I uninstalled the agent, the server is functioning OK.

Hello,

It could be a driver conflict issue. CPS installs certain kernel level drivers, which if in conflict with an existing kernel level driver, might cause a system reboot.

Verify from the CPS SCL below to check if the applications you have, are compatible or not:
