Hi there,
This is really doing my head in so hopefully someone can point me in the right direction. I am trying to add a server (deployed with the Windows Agent on) into my Favorite Resources "Windows Systems". I add it through IP Address because its going through a firewall and it tells me that it can take a while to appear and keep pressing F5.
I have opened up TCP Port 10000 and 10020 -> 10050 in both directions on the firewall. I thought that this would be enough but it seems i need to have NetBIOS (SMB) allowed also as the Firewall was blocking this traffic. Allowing this in 1 directions only (from BackupExec server to the helpdesk) atleast allows me to go through the process of adding the server (where it tells me it can take a while to appear, press F5 etc....).
The only thing is, it never appears. How long is this supposed to take ?
I have added ports 10020 -> 10050 through the options -> Network section.
What am i missing here ? I have got it to appear but not sure if it was just because it took hours to appear or if it was because i created a temporary rule on the firewall to allow everything.
Can anyone shed any light onto this for me please ?
