Hello all,
I have finished a "BEXEC 2010R2" moving between 2 servers with this link http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH67768
but I have 2 issues :
1# I can't delete the old device "BKPTMP-SRV".
2# Drives are "shared" !! How can I remove it ?
Can you help me ?
Thanks and best regards,
PFZ

Similar issue mentioned in the below link, the customer has mentioned the steps to edit BEDB

Note: Be careful while making changes in the table.

You can remove your devices by using tapeinst.exe which is found in the BE installation directory.

If the above does not work then you will have to edit BEDB to remove the old entries.

Thanks for your help.
I tried to edit BEDB but without success. I'm sure it was the right solution to solve the problem.
As I said I'm not a BEXEC specialist and this server was not in production yet. It's why I uninstall BEXEC and install a fresh BEXEC again but without moving configuration/data/errors/logs/DB ...
I will keep the "old backup server" for 6/8 weeks. It's only in case of restore for users (from B2D data). We have all data on tapes.
Thx again,
Best regards.
