but I have 2 issues :

1# I can't delete the old device "BKPTMP-SRV".
2# Drives are "shared" !! How can I remove it ?

Can you help me ?

You can remove your devices by using tapeinst.exe which is found in the BE installation directory.

If the above does not work then you will have to edit BEDB to remove the old entries.

Thanks for your reply PKH, I have tried your solution but old device is always present in the BEXEC interface :(

AmolZeroCool, could you explain me in details how to remove the old entries in BEDB ?

Thanks for your help.

I tried to edit BEDB but without success. I'm sure it was the right solution to solve the problem.
As I said I'm not a BEXEC specialist and this server was not in production yet. It's why I uninstall BEXEC and install a fresh BEXEC again but without moving configuration/data/errors/logs/DB ...

I will keep the "old backup server" for 6/8 weeks. It's only in case of restore for users (from B2D data). We have all data on tapes.

Thx again,
Best regards.
