Job does not complete

Hello,

A costumer has the following system:

HP ML350 G5

HP SC11Xe Single Channel Ultra 320 SCSI Controller 

HP StorageWorks DAT 72 (C7438A)

Microsoft Windows 2003 SBS (SP2 + Latest updates).

Backup Exec 12 (Small Business Server Suite).

The daily backup (full system, copy files) job does not complete automatically. When the Job is running for 13 hours I cancel the job. After a minute of 5-10 the job will display as successful. The strange thing is that is does not happen all the time but 75% of the jobs will not finish automatically.

Backup Exec is up to date (Liveupdate)

Anyone with a similar problem and a solution?

Do yothe jobs specify Eject On End?

Is there an Alert to remove the tape?   IF SO, you can set BackupExec to AutoRespond to this (and other) alert

Yes, the job does specify eject when complete.

When i manually cancel the job there is an alert to remove the tape. I just configured BackupExec to auto respond to this.
