We are using a Quantum P3000 library with Backup Exec 9.1. Last week we started having a problem with exporting tapes. When we export more tapes than the load port can hold the port fills
we get the message to empty the load port
we empty it and close the port
the empty load port message goes away
the library goes back online
we get another empty load port message
the port is already empty so we just ok the message
the export job completes successfully saying that it exported all of the tapes but only the first 6 ever came out.
Quantum came out and said there was no problm with the library, it is a Veritas problem. Everything has been working fine up until last week.
