Load balancing remote agent fails

Hello. I'm french user.
i have the same problem when i will save remote date (files or exchange)

I test with -debug in the remote agent service. and i have the same error :

In fact : the problem is :
On the backup server, I have two ethernet gigabit cards. I use Team solution.
When the team is in Fault tolerance : the remote backup is good.

But if i use Load balancing, the backup fails.

"The network connection to the Backup Exec Remote Agent has been lost. Check for network errors" (a00084f8 HEX or e00084f8 HEX)

Plz can anyone help me ?

I updated my nic drivers with the official drivers from dell and i have always the same problem :\

I do this test :

I reverse the team mode on the two servers :
The server which have Backup Exec : Load balancing
The which have Exchange Agent : Fault Tolerance Only

And i have the same error if i have 2x Load balancing :\

Is NIC teaming used here? Is the remote server behind firewall?

Check the event logs for errors.

Ensure that port 10000 is free on both the servers.

Now i test with Auto mode on 2 two NIC on the master server..

Yes Teaming is used here on the both servers.

No firewall.

I activated the dynamic port range.

Hello,



Add the IP address and Host name of the Remote server to LMHOSTS file and HOSTS file on media server and IP address and Host name of the Media server to LMHOSTS file and HOSTS file on Remote Server. To do this, you will need to locate the lmhosts.sam file and edit it with notepad. Add the target servers name to bottom of the file, and save. This might require a reboot for it to get loaded in to the system.
