Macintosh files are being corrupted

We have a Macintosh share hosted on Server 2003. For some reason, some of the macintosh shares are being corrupted once they have been backed up bu Backup Exec 9.1.

The other Macintosh share, on NT4 Server using Arcserv 2000 doesn't have the same problem.

It seems to be FreehandMX files that are particularly at risk. 'The error is: This is not a valid FreehandMX file'.

Would the Macintosh plug-in for BackupExec stop this?

Hello,

Verify MAC OS compatibility with BE 9.1

Have you installed the MAC agent?
MAC Agent can be installed using be_agent.tar
file, which is located on the Backup Exec installation CD and in the Agents
subdirectory of the Backup Exec media server programs directory. (Path of
this file on Backup Exec media server is \Program Files\VERITAS\Backup
Exec\NT\Agents\MacOSX)
