I'm running Windows 2003 with SP 1 and Exchange Server 2003 with all patches etc.
I set up my veritas 10 rev 5484 to backup mailboxes, public folders, information store and selected files and folders. Everything was going smoothly until about a week ago when the backups just stopped working altogether.
I tried many things and eventually went through individual backup settings to see what works and what doesn't.
Basically, if I backup files and folders, all is good. Backups are fast and work well but if I try mail boxes or Public folders nothing seems to happen.
The backup shows active, it says it is scanning, but even after 10 + hours not a single byte has been backed up.
However, I did manage to backup a single mailbox but all other mailboxes / Public fodlers fail and this means all the other files and folders fail too.
Right now I'm just backing up: files and folders but really need to get the rest workign soon too.
