Media format unrecognized

Hi,

 

We are using Symantec BackupExec 10d and HP MSL 6000 series tape library.

The backup throws error at loading media. and in the alerts I find the media unrecognised format error appearing. Erasing the tape also throws error "45d - The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error." This errors occur since the chasis and the tape drive (SDLT 600) of the tape library has been replaced.

Could you please let me know where can I find the latest symantec drivers for this tape library.

(If you shut down all BackupExec services, can you see and access the drive with NTbackup?)
