Migrating to new Server

I want to migrate the media server functions to a new server and I cannot find documentation on how to go about doing this. I'm just learning Veritas so any information would be very helpful.

You may find some help from Veritas tech note 274778. It can be found at the following location. http://seer.support.veritas.com/docs/274778.htm

You can also copy the catalog files from the old server and place them on the new server. They are typically found in C:\Program files\Veritas \Backup Exec\NT\Catalogs.

Have you installed Backup Exec on an existing instance of SQL?

Is the OS of the new server same as the originla server?
