My weekly backup has failed for the past 3 weeks with the following error: A synthetic backup of this resource will not include the data backed up by this operation until the next full or incremental backup of this resource.
As far as I know I am not using Synthetic Backup.

Error category : Resource Errors
Error: e0000f09

Are there any index files or other files that can be deleted and re-created.
It is only happening on a weekly full backup with reset on archive bit.
Please help

Hi Jay,

Usually when these errors crop up on a regular basis like this its easiest to recreate that backup job. Chances are somewhere in the catalog is the problem. Does the job log not give any further indication to a problem with exception reports or failures?

I would first try recreating the backup job and running it again. Not the answer you want to hear Im sure but believe me when I say its going to be more time effective then trying to troubleshoot the problem.

I've just re-created the backup job and I will run it today and provide feedback.
