New LTO4 tape drive on Backup Exec 10.1d

This is a pre-installation question -

I have a

HP LTO4 StorageWorks Ultrium 1840

Model EH854A

Replacement #452974-001

Revision H009

that I would like to install on a Backup Exec 10.1d server.  I have downloaded the driver package off the website, but it is dated back in 2006.  Does anybody know if there is a Symantec / Veritas driver for this tape drive?  Will it work in 10.1d?  Or should I just rely on getting an updated Windows driver? 

Just trying to save myself some time if anybody has any knowledge or experience with newer tape drives on 10.1d.  Thank you!

As long as NTBackup works with an OEM driver, BackupExec should work OK 

No guarantees, and since v10d is so close to End-of-Life, I don't imagine that any new driver packs will be released

That sounds like a good plan.  This is a test server and hopefully will be moved to production and BE for Win 12 when that happens.  Unfortunately, I have to work with 10d for the moment.
