OFO: Volume name is invalid or not available

Hi,

I am backing up a remote Windows 2003 Server and am running Backup Exec 8.6.

The backup fails with the following message

Device: \\WWLIB01\D$.
OFO: Volume name is invalid or not available

This occurs for all three drives that I back up.

I have consulted the Veritas site that tells me it is due to the default location being unchecked in the OFO Wizard, however I have checked this and is is NOT unchecked and IS set to use the default.

How can I solve this issue?

Thanks

Andy

Hi,

We apologize for the inconvenience caused because of the delayed response.

However, we would like to inform you that backup exec 8.6 version does not support windows 2003 operating system.Hence the performance of backup exec 8.6 is not guaranteed.

Hope this answers your issue.
