Old SDLT TAPES

Hi All,
Late August we upgraded from w2k/e2k to w2k3/e2k3
and on this machine we had the veritas(powervault 110 SDLT 320).
Since we did that I cannot see any of the old tape history. I can only see the new history from late august.
If I wanted to review and browse the old tape how do I do it????
I put the tape in and then what? Do catalog?
I need to get old emails.

FYI: Upgrade to exchange wasnt hard. It was the PF migration that was annoyance. We ended up having to copt the pst over to the new exchange server.

To see the contents of an old tape,
insert
inventory
catalog

BUT

I don't think you can restore E2K data to an E2K3 server. You'll need an E2K server to do the restores.

I put the old tape in and did inventory and cataloge
I was able to find the folder however I havent completed the restore process yet.

I'll reply later when it is done.
