One Touch Backup failed with "Difference encountered in file data"

I have installed BE2010 on a Windows 2008R2 server with Hyper-V. An inexpesive Edimax NAS device is used as a backup to folder target. Performance seems to be OK, but backups fail with "Difference encountered in file data" errors on multiple files. My previous experience with the NAS device is not such that I would have a reason to believe that is messes data at all - let alone this much. Could I have provoked so many errors with the wrong configuration of Backup To Folder target?

Try and run the b2dtest.exe file you can find on the support site.  It will check many aspects of the NAS and the CIFS performance to verify that it's a suitable disk target, as well as if GRT will work or not.

I'm running the 32-bit version (could not locate a 64-bit version) ......
I have been testing the same NAS with BESR 2010 on another location, and the software did not complain at all. I expected that One Touch Backup would be a close as it gets to BESR 2010 full backup.
