We have a problem with a backup server on a site, and want to set up something in the interrim while the issue with th eserver is being resolved. We use Backup Exec 2010. I've downloaded and installed the BE 2014 evaluation version and put it on the file server end earmaked some disk space for the backup. Unfortunately, there isn't enough space for a full backup so I wanted to opt for a differential, seeing as we had successful backup sup to a certain point.
The problem is that BE 2014 keeps insisting the the job contain at least one full backup, which won't have sufficient space to complete. Is there any way to run a one-time backup just based on the status of the files' archive bits?
