Operating system not found after restore Vmware Disks

Hi

I had to restore a virtual server.

I selected Vmware Data from this virtual machine, and restore was successful

However, when I boot this virtual machine again, I encounter an "operating system not found" and I am unable to boot it

hard disk 1 with SCSI (0:0) is the boot disk, as I know this one was a 25Go hard drive and the others are 50 and 400Go.

I really need to start this server as soon as possible, what could I do there?

Thanks for help

There was something I ran into some time ago with VMs when the OS disk was re-created in thin partitioning mode versus thick... It simply wouldn't boot for me. Did the restore ask for thin v thick or anything like that?

What version of ESX / vCenter are you currently using?

Have you been able to open a support case for the issue?

Vsphere 4.1 with Vcenter

Using backup on disk deduplication

Support case opened but the guy of symantec think that the disks files were corrupted during backup

I am really upset that backup is "successfull" but that I am unable to restore.

I have never had this kind of problemes with previous version
