Dear all,
I am taking backups of Oracle through Remote Agent. On few servers, everything is working fine. Recently, new servers have been installed. They are running OID (Oracle Internet Directory) database. When I try to configure remote agent, I just get message stating: "Unable to validate Oracle database credentials. Try again." The database is visible from vxmon, also, I am able to connect to database using SQL*plus.
Backup Exec on media server is version 11d (11.0.7170), remote agent has been installed via GUI (also tried to remove and re-install), OID is running "Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.1.0.5.0 - Prod" on Windows Server 2003 R2, Ent x64bit edition, SP2.
Please, could someone advise, what needs to be configured to take backups?
