Problem with new Tape-Drive (IBM 36/72 DDS-5 SCSI)! Backup Exec creates Error message ...

Hi,

I built the drive in, installed the driver for w2k and it works.

But allways when I want to inventare the new tapes I got the Message (in German)

"Der Auftrag schlug mit folgendem Fehler fehl: Ungültiges Argument für den Wechsler der physischen Datenträger." which should be the english message "Invalid Physical Volume Library Argument".

I have the Version 9.00 Rev. 4554 and installed the following pack: Be4454RSP1_267151.exe

I found another pack BackupExecTapeDeviceDriverInstall_263385.exe, which could be the solution, but I cannot install because I shall first install a pack BE4454RHF2. The documentation says, that this pack is included in SP1 ...???

HELP!!

What is my problem???

I would suggest the free upgrade to v9.1.4691.1
