We are running 11.5D and when you click restore to select what files you want restored the server basically freezes up. Now if you give it some time (10 to 30 mins) it will finally load and you can select your files from you selection list. I'm assuming that it takes the server a little time to load the catalogs, and this is the reason why this is happening. But this is real annoying especially when you have a VP breathing down your neck for a file :). We do delete out catalogs that we are not using anymore, but this has really has not seemed to help. Also the server is up to date, dual core 2.4, 2 gigs of ram, 15000k HD's. Plenty of power we think. Any suggestions or work around to this issue would be grateful.
