Quantum Autoloader 3 issue

geneva2008
Level 2
Running 11D 7170 on Windows Server 2003 R2 x64 Standard SP2 with a single LTO-3 drive. For a while now I would get successful full backups on most nights except for Saturdays. The drive would go offline for no apparent reason. Then weekday ones wouldn't run either. Currently running the following drivers:

Tape Drive - Quantum LTO 3 with Symantec Driver 5.1.25.0 dated 1/07
Medium Changer - Quantum Superloader with Quantum driver 2.2.5.0 dated 9/06

I've gone through steps such as removing it from Backup Exec,  then uninstalling the Symantec drivers from Backup Exec, then removing both from Device Manager, turning off the Autoloader, rebooting the server, turning the Autoloader back on while the server was rebooting then reinstalling the above drivers. Backup Exec sees the Robotic Library fine and is recognizing all 8 slots (#8 is cleaning) but is showing "unknown media" for slots 1-7 now. I've tried importing the media but it immediately tells me to insert media into those slots even though they have tapes in them. It will initialize the library and unlock the library and nothing else. Any suggestions?
