Quantum VS160 Tape drive not seen in Device wizard or device list.

Hi, I am using a Quantum DLT VS160 tape drive with Windows Server 2003. It is seen by Windows device manager, and removable storage, but is not seen in the BEWS device wizard. When I click the button in Device Wizard to install the Veritas drivers, it finds the drive and installs the Veritas drivers, but the drive still does not show up in the device wizard or list. The device is listed in the HCL. I have stopped and disabled the Removeable storage service. Any ideas?
