Currently we are running Backup Exec 10d and will are preparing to upgrade to 11d.We are running a small shop with a mix of Windows 2000sp4 and Windows 2003 sp2 machines.We have several clusters.I was reading the documentation that came with hotfix 13 and 14.They both mention “after installing the hotfix on the primary node, use the cluster administrator to move the BEWS group to the failover node, and run the installation again for each node of the cluster”.When I look at cluster administrator I do not see a BEWS group as a cluster resource group.Is a BEWS group something new to 11d?
All this means is that if you have Backup Exec clustered you will need to install the patch on the primary node, then failover the cluster and install it on the secondary.
